Setting your preferred language for the DataPower GUI

You can set the DataPower® GUI to use your preferred language. When your preferred language is different from the system locale, logs are in the system locale.

About this task

The IBM® DataPower Gateway supports 12 languages. For a list of supported languages, see Supported languages.

Instead of selecting one of these 12 languages, you can select Automatic. This choice reads the language settings for your browser to choose the first supported language that matches. If the language settings in your browser match no language that the DataPower Gateway supports, English is used.

Procedure

  1. Select the user user icon icon in the banner.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. From the Language list, select your preferred language.
  4. Click Save.

Results

The DataPower GUI refreshes and uses your preferred language.
