User commands
User mode provides the commands to create or modify a user configuration such as the user name and password, the user account type, and the access rights to specified domains.
To enter the mode, use the global user command. To delete a user configuration, use the no user command.
While in this mode, use the commands in the following table to define the user.
- To view the current configuration, use the show command.
- To restore default values, use the reset command.
- To exit this configuration mode without saving changes to the running configuration, use the cancel command.
- To exit this configuration mode and save changes to the running configuration, use the exit command.

| summary | This command specifies the brief, descriptive summary for the object instance. |
| suppress-password-change | This command controls whether the password for this account must be changed after the initial login by the account owner. |
