System settings commands
System settings mode provides the commands to modify system information for the DataPower® Gateway.
To enter the configuration mode, use the global system command.
While in this mode, use the commands in the following table to define system settings.
- To view the current configuration, use the show command.
- To restore default values, use the reset command.
- To exit this configuration mode without saving changes to the running configuration, use the cancel command.
- To exit this configuration mode and save changes to the running configuration, use the exit command.

| admin-state | This command sets the administrative state for the configuration. |
| audit-reserve | This command reserves disk space for the audit log. |
| contact | This command defines the details for who to contact to manage the DataPower Gateway. |
| custom-ui-file | This command specifies the location of the custom user interface file. |
| detect-intrusion | This command manages intrusion detection of the appliance in System Settings mode. |
| entitlement | This command specifies the original serial number. |
| locale | This command specifies the locale for the DataPower operating language. |
| location | This command specifies the location of the DataPower Gateway. |
| name | This command sets the identifier for the DataPower Gateway. |
| summary | This command specifies the brief, descriptive summary for the object instance. |
| system-log-fixed-format | This command controls whether the system log format is fixed at the V6.0.1 level. |
