Processing rule commands

Processing rule mode provides the commands to define actions that are taken against the documents.

To enter the mode, use the global rule command. To delete a processing rule configuration, use the no rule command.

While in this mode, use the commands in the following table to define the processing rule.

  • To view the current configuration, use the show command.
  • To restore default values, use the reset command.
  • To exit this configuration mode without saving changes to the running configuration, use the cancel command.
  • To exit this configuration mode and save changes to the running configuration, use the exit command.

Command Purpose
action This command manages named actions in the processing rule.
admin-state This command sets the administrative state for the configuration.
input-filter This command sets the decompression algorithm to apply to inbound traffic before any other processing by the processing rule.
non-xml-processing This command controls whether the processing rule processes non-XML documents.
output-filter This command sets the compression algorithm to apply to outbound traffic after all other processing by the processing rule.
summary This command specifies the brief, descriptive summary for the object instance.
type This command sets the type of the processing rule.
unprocessed This command enables data the processing rule to pass through subsequent actions in an unprocessed state.
