Processing rule commands
Processing rule mode provides the commands to define actions that are taken against the documents.
To enter the mode, use the global rule command. To delete a processing rule configuration, use the no rule command.
While in this mode, use the commands in the following table to define the processing rule.
- To view the current configuration, use the show command.
- To restore default values, use the reset command.
- To exit this configuration mode without saving changes to the running configuration, use the cancel command.
- To exit this configuration mode and save changes to the running configuration, use the exit command.

| admin-state | This command sets the administrative state for the configuration. |
| input-filter | This command sets the decompression algorithm to apply to inbound traffic before any other processing by the processing rule. |
| non-xml-processing | This command controls whether the processing rule processes non-XML documents. |
| output-filter | This command sets the compression algorithm to apply to outbound traffic after all other processing by the processing rule. |
| summary | This command specifies the brief, descriptive summary for the object instance. |
| type | This command sets the type of the processing rule. |
| unprocessed | This command enables data the processing rule to pass through subsequent actions in an unprocessed state. |
