Message filter action commands

Message filter action mode provides the commands to create or modify a message filter action.

To enter the mode, use the global monitor-action command. To delete a message filter action, use the no monitor-action command.

While in this mode, use the commands in the following table to define a message filter action.

  • To view the current configuration, use the show command.
  • To restore default values, use the reset command.
  • To exit this configuration mode without saving changes to the running configuration, use the cancel command.
  • To exit this configuration mode and save changes to the running configuration, use the exit command.

Command Purpose
admin-state This command sets the administrative state for the configuration.
block-interval This command sets the duration during which an over-threshold message is denied service.
log-priority This command sets the priority of the log event when a control procedure is triggered.
summary This command specifies the brief, descriptive summary for the object instance.
type This command sets the control procedure to trigger when a monitored message type exceeds its threshold value.
