IMS Connect handler commands

IMS Connect handler mode provides the commands to create or modify an IMS Connect handler.

To enter the mode, use the global source-imsconnect command. To delete a handler, use the no source-imsconnect command.

While in this mode, use the commands in the following table to define the handler.

Availability: IMS feature.
  • To view the current configuration, use the show command.
  • To restore default values, use the reset command.
  • To exit this configuration mode without saving changes to the running configuration, use the cancel command.
  • To exit this configuration mode and save changes to the running configuration, use the exit command.

Command Purpose
acl This command associates an ACL with the IMS Connect handler.
admin-state This command sets the administrative state for the configuration.
ebcdic-input This command sets the encoding for input headers as EBCDIC or ASCII.
local-address This command specifies the local address for the IMS Connect handler.
persistent-connections This command controls the negotiation of persistent connections for the IMS Connect handler.
port This command specifies the local listening port for the service for the IMS Connect handler.
segment-size This command specifies the maximum segment size into which a message is split when sent to an IMS client.
ssl-config-type This command sets the TLS profile type for the IMS Connect handler.
ssl-server This command associates a TLS server profile with the IMS Connect handler.
ssl-sni-server This command associates a TLS SNI server profile with the IMS Connect handler.
