Flash commands
Flash mode provides the commands to manage firmware images and files in the DataPower® file system.
To enter the configuration mode, use the Global flash command.
While in this mode, use the commands in the following table.
To exit this configuration mode, use the exit command.

| boot config | This command designates the startup configuration for the next restart. |
| boot delete | This command deletes the secondary installation. |
| boot image | This command manages the installed firmware and features. |
| boot switch | This command switches between primary and secondary installations. |
| boot update | This command creates a new configuration file or opens an existing configuration file for editing. |
| copy | This command copies a file to or from the DataPower file system. |
| delete | This command deletes a local file. |
| dir | This command lists the contents of a DataPower directory. |
| move | This command moves a local file from one directory to another. |
| reinitialize | This command reinitialized the DataPower Gateway. |
| shutdown | This command can reload the firmware, can restart the DataPower Gateway, or can stop and turn off the power to the DataPower Gateway. |
| tenant-install | This command creates a tenant and installs its initial firmware image. |
| verify-firmware | This command runs the integrity verifier tool against the current firmware image. |
