Message count monitor commands
Message count monitor mode provides the commands to create or modify a count monitor.
To enter the mode, use the global monitor-count command. To delete a count monitor, use the no monitor-count command.
While in this mode, use the commands in the following table to define the count monitor.
- To view the current configuration, use the show command.
- To restore default values, use the reset command.
- To exit this configuration mode without saving changes to the running configuration, use the cancel command.
- To exit this configuration mode and save changes to the running configuration, use the exit command.

| filter | This command specifies a threshold value and control procedure to implement when the threshold value is exceeded. |

| measure | This command specifies how to increment the counter. |
| message-type | This command specifies the target message class for the count monitor. |
| source | This command enables IP address-specific monitoring and information gathering. |
| summary | This command specifies the brief, descriptive summary for the object instance. |
