auth-method
This command sets the authentication method for the POP poller handler.
Syntax
auth-method apop
auth-method basic
Parameters
apop- Uses authenticated POP (APOP).
basic- Uses basic authentication. This setting is the default value.

The auth-method command sets the authentication method to authenticate the credentials to access the mailbox.
