REST Interface for BPEL-related Task Resources - Task Instance Input Data Resource - GET Method

Use this method to retrieve the input for a task.

GET /rest/bpm/htm/v1/task/{tkiid}/input[?new={boolean}]

Indicates whether an "empty" input should be returned.

true	Return an "empty" input.
false (default)	Return the input for a task.

Human task input.

The default content-type is application/xml.

MIME Type: application/xml

The XML Schema type/element is defined as part of the custom task definition. If the parameter "new" is specified then only the root element with its namespace declarations is returned.

MIME Type: application/json

The JSON Schema can be derived from the XML Schema type/element definition (see [JSON Format]). If the parameter "new" is specified then the root element in JSON format will always be an empty JSON object ("{ }").

Status codes

The method returns one of the following status codes:

Code	Description
200 OK	Success completion.
400 Bad Request	The parameters are not valid or they are missing.
401 Unauthorized	The caller is not authorized for this request.
404 Not Found	Task or task input does not exist.
406 Not Acceptable	The requested content type or content encoding is not supported.
500 Internal Server Error	A severe problem has occurred. Programmer's details are provided.
