Viewing ad hoc task information from instances

You can open tasks from process model instances, directly from the Instances widget. The associated tasks open in the Task Information widget, from where you can work on or respond to the tasks.

Before you begin

Prerequisites:

Process Server
Ad hoc tasks have been created for the model.
The Instances widget must be on the same page as the Task Information widget and wiring must be enabled. (See example on the Task Drill Down page of the Initiating Process Improvements template.)

About this task

To view or open tasks in the Task Information widget, complete the following steps from the Instances widget:

Procedure

Select a process instance within the instances table and then click Actions > Open or Actions > Edit. The associated task opens in the Task Information widget.
