IBM® MaaS360® released the MDM Extender Agent (MES) version 4.40 on 29 July 2026.

The supported agent versions include the following.

MaaSApp 5.28
Bulk Provisioning Tool 1.89
CMT Migration Tool 1.40
MAM utility Tool 1.16
MDM Extender Agent (MES) 4.40

In this version, resolved an issue where nonenrolled users received an error for accessing the app catalog for Windows Advanced Agent (non-MDM) devices. Users can now open the MaaS360 app and access the app catalog without errors. Contact IBM MaaS360 Customer Support to enable the MaaS360 app and the app catalog for all Windows device users on devices that are enrolled with the Windows Advanced Agent (non-MDM).
