Cloud Extender 3.002.190 Release Notes

List of features and fixes that are released as a part of Cloud Extender® 3.002.190.

IBM® MaaS360® initially released the Cloud Extender 3.002.100 on 7 April 2026, and subsequently made version 3.002.190.005 available on 5 May 2026.

IBM MaaS360 released the Cloud Extender installer (core agent) 3.002.190.007 on 19 May 2026.

Upgrade the Cloud Extender installer (core agent) to version 3.002.190.007

This release includes Open SSL clean-up changes that help ensure proper installation of new OpenSSL 3.x components.

Enhancement to Cloud Extender in FIPS mode

The Cloud Extender integrates OpenSSL 3.x and is FIPS 140-3 supported from 3.002.100 and later, ensuring that all cryptographic operations use approved algorithms and meet modern security compliance requirements. For more information, see Cloud Extender in FIPS mode.

Upgrading OpenSSL in Cloud Extender

In this release, the OpenSSL integration in Cloud Extender is upgraded from version 1.0.2 to 3.5.
