Use the Advanced Search feature to search for specific devices in the IBM®
MaaS360® Portal.
Procedure

From the IBM
MaaS360 Portal home page, select

On the Advanced Search page, choose one of the following options.

Description |
| Search for |
Specifies whether you want to search for active devices, inactive devices, or all
devices. |
| With Device Types |
Specifies the types of devices that you want to include in the search, such as desktops,
notebooks, smartphones, and other devices. Note: Depending on the services that you purchased for
your MaaS360 customer account, some of these options might
not be available.

| Last Reported |
Specifies the last time that a device contacted MaaS360. |
| Search Criteria |
Specifies the Boolean operators that handle multiple search conditions. The following
Boolean operators are available:
- All Conditions (AND)
- Any Condition (OR)
- Across Conditions (Advanced)
Condition: Specifies the category, attribute, criteria, and value to
search for.
Based on the search criteria category that is selected, relevant attributes are
listed in the search condition. For any search condition category and attribute, the following
criteria are available: Contains, Begins with, Does not contain, Ends with, Equal to, Is empty, Is
not empty, and Not equal to.Note: Field labels throughout the Network
Information use standardized SIM1 and SIM2 terminology to improve clarity across
platforms. Primary SIM is now SIM1, and
Secondary SIM is now SIM2.

In the
Search Criteria section on the
Advanced
Search page, you must define the operators in the correct format or you might receive the
wrong results. To set up search criteria, see the examples in the topic on
Configuring search criteria.
Note: Search
for devices by their SIM2 home carrier information on iOS devices.

Click Search to view the devices that match the search criteria. The
user can view the list of configured device from the search results.
What to do next
- Customize the columns that are displayed in the search results.
- Download the search results in a .csv file.
- Create a Device Group that includes all the devices that are listed in the search results.
- View the search criteria and either search again or request a data refresh.
