Tracking app distributions

Track the distribution status of apps in the MaaS360 App Catalog to monitor how apps are deployed across managed devices. You can view installation progress, identify pending or failed deployments, and take corrective actions to ensure that apps reach targeted users and devices successfully.

1. From the IBM® MaaS360® Portal home page, select Apps > Catalog.
2. On the App Catalog page, go to the Manage Distributions page from one of the following navigation options.
   • Click More in the upper-right corner and then select Manage Distributions.

     The distribution targets for all apps and their corresponding distribution details are displayed on the Manage Distributions page.

   • Hover over the More link that is displayed under the app name and then select Manage Distributions.

   • 1. Click the View link that is displayed under the app name.

        The App Summary page is displayed.

     2. Click More in the upper-right corner and then select Manage Distributions.

3. Optional: Take the following actions:

   Delete

   To delete an app distribution, choose one of the following options:

   • Click Delete that is displayed under the app distribution name.
   • Select the checkbox next to the app distribution and click Delete.

   This action stops the distribution and uninstalls the app if Remove on Stop distribution is enabled. The app is not deployed to new devices that are added to the distribution target after device enrollment. This action applies to all apps.

   Modify License

   Click Modify License that is displayed under the app distribution name to modify the license for a user or device.

   Note: This setting applies to iOS VPP apps only.
