Network restrictions

The Network restrictions settings configure restricted network, Bluetooth, or wireless settings on a Windows device.

Allow auto-connect to Wi-Fi sense hotspots Allows the device to automatically connect to wifi hotspots and a social network.

Allow Wi-Fi hotspot reporting Allows a wifi hotspot to report information to Microsoft. If this setting is disabled, the user cannot enable this setting on the device. Windows Phone 8.1
Allow manual Wi-Fi configuration Allows a device to connect to wifi outside of the MDM server-installed networks. Windows Phone 8.1+
Allow mobile data roaming If a device is outside a cellular carrier's operating area, the user can use data roaming options on the device. Windows Phone 8.1+
Allow NFC Allows NFC usage on the device. Windows Phone 8.1+
Allow internet sharing Allows the sharing of an internet connection among devices.

Allow Bluetooth Allows the usage of Bluetooth connection on the device.
Note: For Windows, Bluetooth sharing works with internet sharing.

Allow VPN over mobile data Allows a device to use the mobile network to connect to the VPN. Windows Phone 8.1
Allow VPN over data roaming Allows a device to use data roaming to connect to the VPN. Windows Phone 8.1
Wireless display
Allow projection to PC Allows a device to project on a PC. Windows Professional, Education, Enterprise
Require PIN for pairing The user must enter a PIN to pair devices. Windows Professional, Education, Enterprise
Bluetooth settings
Allow Bluetooth discoverable mode Allows Bluetooth to discover the device.

Allow Bluetooth advertising Allows Bluetooth advertising to deliver content such as messages, information, or advertisements to the device.

Configure Bluetooth device name Allows the user to configure the name of the device that connects to Bluetooth. Use%username% or %devicename% as placeholder values to configure the Bluetooth device name.
