Using the base ISO image to deploy devices in bulk to Windows machines

After you deploy the base ISO image to a Windows machine, you can automatically set up the Windows Bulk Provisioning Tool on the machine to enroll devices in bulk.

Notes:
  • Ensure that the Windows device that is used to create the OS image or the SelfExtractingOA.exe executable file with the Windows Bulk Provisioning Tool is not MDM-enrolled.
  • Administrators must avoid enrolling the same device that was used to create the SelfExtractingOA.exe executable file with the Windows Bulk Provisioning Tool.

When you save the Windows Bulk Provisioning Tool configurations, managed devices are automatically enrolled when the operating system is restarted on a machine and the user logs in to that machine.

Note: The Setup > Settings > Directory and Enrollment > Basic Enrollment Settings > Limit Enrollment and Activation > By User setting does not apply to the Windows Bulk Provisioning Tool. You can enroll an unlimited number of users with the Windows Bulk Provisioning Tool.
