Apply Update Aborted health check alert from the Cloud Extender core

The Apply Update Aborted health check alert is displayed in the Cloud Extender® Device view when the core EMSAgent module experiences issues with applying a software update to the agent. The Cloud Extender sends an alert to the IBM® MaaS360® Portal and stops attempting the update after three failed attempts to apply the software update.

To enable the Apply Update Aborted alert:
  1. Log in to the IBM MaaS360 Portal with Administrator credentials.
  2. Open a Cloud Extender policy.
  3. Go to Cloud Extender Settings > Health Check Configuration > General.
  4. Enable the Unable to apply update on Cloud Extender checkbox.
  5. Save and publish the policy.
To view the alert in the IBM MaaS360 Portal, follow the step.
  • From the Alert History section, locate the CE Core: Apply Update Aborted alert in the alert list.
