Converting alphanumeric or DBCS to national (NATIONAL-OF)

Use the NATIONAL-OF intrinsic function to convert alphabetic, alphanumeric, UTF-8, or DBCS data to a national data item. Specify the source code page as the second argument if the source is encoded in a different code page than is in effect with the CODEPAGE compiler option.
