Viewing order status

As an account manager, having real-time visibility into order status KPIs helps to ensure that each customer conversation is informed. The order status KPIs provide input related to the overall health of a customer account in one view.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. From the main menu, select Dashboards > Account.
  3. In Account, select the account that you want to view the data for from the menu.
  4. In Select time frame, select the time period to view the data. You can select from five preset time frame options that range from today up through the last 45 days.
  5. In the Order status chart, click the value or volume icon to view data as monetary amounts or volume. The data is updated with your selection.
Note: If you select to view the data as monetary amounts, the monetary values from the sales orders do not consider any charges or discounts. The monetary values are derived from multiplying the item unit price by quantity.

Results

The Order status chart provides KPIs that show a holistic view of your orders. This data helps you to assess the status of the orders, track inventory levels, and identify any outstanding issues that require attention.

The chart shows the value or volume and the specific number of orders and order lines for orders that are in one of these states:

  • Shipped
  • Cancelled
  • Back ordered
Note: The number of returns and cancellations includes partially returned or cancelled orders. For example, if an order has four lines and only one of those lines is being returned or cancelled, the return or cancelled count increases by one.

In the Returns section, you can see the value or volume of returns within the time period that you specified and the percentage of those returns that are unidentifiable.

In the Expiring contracts section, you can see the number of contracts that are approaching their expiration date so that you can proactively begin the contract renewal process. Click the number to open the Contract order list page and view the contracts about to expire. You can also configure the contract expiration time frame. To configure the expiration timeline, go to Settings > Display settings. In the Contract order section, specify how many days before the expiration date to display data.
