After the installation of Sterling™ Order Management System Software, you muse complete the post-installation recommendations for ensured security.

Procedure

  1. Change the password of the default user (admin).
  2. Change permissions on INSTALL_DIR/bin/migrator.* files to non-executable.
  3. API security is enabled during installation. After installation, you may want to reset the api.security.mode property and carefully consider your API security configuration.
  4. Ensure that the required permissions to access the API resources are defined for an application.
