Configuring Sterling Search Index
The Sterling Search Index of Sterling Order Management System Software provides a facility to index a transactional data when created or updated in the system. The attributes to be indexed are based on a predefined template called outline template.
Creating an index mapping
Index mapping is a process of defining how a document must be mapped in the search engine. For example, defining the data type and index characteristics of a field. A correct mapping is necessary to index fields and return results as expected.
