Administering replication using the console

Use the Db2® Warehouse SaaS web console to set up replication.

Activating replication using the console
To begin replicating data on Db2 Warehouse on Cloud, you need to activate the replication process. Note that all source and target servers must have replication activated.
Creating a replication set using the console
After you enable a Db2 Warehouse SaaS database for replication, you create a replication set to specify a set of tables to be replicated to a designated target.
Editing a replication set using the console
You can add or remove tables from an existing replication set and change the set name. Adding tables does not affect replication for the tables that are already in the set.
Removing a table from a replication set using the console
You remove a table from a replication set so that data from the table is no longer replicated. Removing a table does not affect replication for other tables in the set.
Deleting a replication set using the console
You delete a replication set to remove it from the console.
Deleting targets using the console
You can remove one or more replication targets. This action also deletes any replication sets that are associated with the targets.
Deactivating replication using the console
You can remove the replication environment from Db2 Warehouse SaaS. This process is also known as deactivating replication and must be performed on both the source and target systems.
