Supported object storage services for Datalake tables
Datalake table support feature enables Db2 Warehouse SaaS and Db2 Warehouse to create, query and manage tables stored using open data format on remote storage.
The following object storage services are supported for the purpose of creating Datalake tables:
- IBM® Cloud Object Storage
- Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3)
- Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation
- Red Hat Ceph Storage
- Currently no support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
- MinIO
- must be at version RELEASE.2025-01-20T14-49-07Z or above
Note: MinIO is an open‑source object storage solution that is no longer actively maintained. For this reason, it is not recommended for use in production environments. - Microsoft Azure Blob Storage
