Importing a logical data model or domain model

A logical data model can import other logical data models or domain models. A domain model can only import other domain models.

After you have imported another model in into the main model, you can open and access the imported model through a shortcut. By default, containment is maintained between the main model and the imported model so that model transformations, model analysis, impact analysis, and web publishing can be run transparently from the main model.
