Schedule packages to send later

Schedule packages to stage deliveries for future release.

1. In the Packages app, click Send files.
2. Prepare the files you want to send, follow the instructions in the Quick start: Send files and folders section.
3. Click Schedule for later and set the toggle to On.
4. Set the Release date and Choose a time for your package to be released in the future.
5. Optional – To protect your package with a password, click Password protection and enter one in the Password (optional) field.
   Note: Package recipients will need to enter this password to decrypt its contents. This password is not sent through IBM Aspera.
6. Click Expiration policy to set a specific condition for your package files to expire after certain criteria is met.
   • Delete files by time (optional): Select a time from the drop down. If you choose Custom you can enter a specific date.
   • Delete files by download records: Choose between Delete after any recipient download all files, or Delete after all recipients download all files.
7. Click Send.

Your package is saved and will be sent at the specified date and time you selected.
