Desktop access to AoC using IBM Aspera Connect

IBM Aspera Connect allows users to access their Aspera on Cloud content directly from the desktop without using a browser. This capability was formerly provided by Aspera Drive; Aspera Drive is now consolidated into Aspera Connect.

When Connect is connected to IBM Aspera on Cloud you can perform the following tasks from the Connect Remote View:
  • Browse the contents of your Aspera on Cloud workspace.
  • In your Aspera on Cloud Files app:
    • Upload and download files and folders.
    • Synchronize local folders with folders on the remote transfer server. You can sync in three directions: remote to local (pull); local to remote (push), and bi-directionally.
  • In your Aspera on Cloud Packages app:
    • Send files and folder in a digital package, to another user or to shared inbox.
    • Download package that you receive in your personal inbox or in shared inboxes.
    • Schedule automated package downloads.
