Creating regulation records

A regulation helps your enterprise to comply with guidelines, standards, and legal requirements. When you create regulation records, you specify the context in which regulations are followed.

Procedure

  1. In the Regulatory Compliance application, click New Regulation on the toolbar.
  2. On the Regulation tab, specify the regulation for which you are creating the record, and the type of work to which the regulation applies.
  3. Specify the date from which the regulation is valid.
  4. Specify the regulation details, such as the regulatory authority, the region, and the country.
  5. Optional: Assign a technical authority to the regulation.
  6. Optional: Specify the reference for any safety-critical element that is associated with the regulation, such as a performance standard.
  7. Optional: On the Specifications tab, classify the regulation.
