Status of operating policies

An operating policy can have a status of Draft, Active, or Inactive.

Status	About this status
DRAFT	The operating policy is being developed or reviewed. This status is the default status for new operating policies. The record is not available to other records and applications. You can change or delete the record.
ACTIVE	An operating policy record that has this status is available to other records and applications. You cannot change or delete the record.
INACTIVE	The operating policy is not available to open records. You cannot change the record. You can delete the record if it is not associated with an asset, a location, a job plan, or a preventive maintenance record.
