Purchase Orders application

You use the Purchase Orders application to create purchase orders and to change existing purchase orders. You can create purchase orders and reuse the data and vendor information while you apply consistent terms and contracts.

You can also use this application to generate internal purchase orders from a storeroom. A storeroom-to-storeroom purchase order is like a transfer order or an internal purchase order. You use the Purchase Orders application and the Inventory Usage application to track the internal movement of items.

When you have records that are associated with purchase orders, such as invoices, contracts, and requests for quotations, you can review these records. You can obtain a comprehensive review of all the data that is related to purchase orders.

You can also review the transactions and the records that are specific to a purchase order line.
