Work plans for operator tasks

A work plan describes the labor, materials, tools, services, and tasks that are essential to complete an operator task. You can copy an existing job plan and modify it to suit your needs.

You can add a work plan to an operator task by specifying the identifier of an existing work plan in the Job Plan field of the operator task. The system copies all task and plan data from the work plan to the operator task record. If the work plan and its assets or locations have a safety plan, the safety plan is also copied to the operator task record. Changes that you make to the operator task record do not affect the original work plan or safety plan.

Only one safety plan can be associated with an operator task. To associate a safety plan with an operator task that already has a safety plan, first remove the existing safety plan from the operator task.
