Job plans and work orders

You can apply a job plan to a work order. Work orders refer to an activity, change, or release. The job plan that you apply becomes the work plan.

You can choose a job plan that is associated with the work assets that are identified on the work order. You can associate a job plan with a work order. If the job plan has a default safety plan for the selected work asset, then the safety plan is copied to the work order.

When you assign labor on a job plan, you can specify the essential qualification for the associated task. An Oil and Gas/HSE Manager shared option in the Organizations application is set to verify the labor qualification for tasks. If you accept the default, when a qualification is specified, only the labor records that match the essential qualifications display.
