Removing improvement plans from improvement records

Due to an error or a change, you might have to remove improvement plan data from an improvement record.

About this task

You can remove the work plan if the improvement and any child improvements meet both following conditions:
  • The status of the improvements is WAPPR (Waiting on Approval).
  • The improvements are never in workflow.
However, you can delete individual tasks that meet the criteria for deletion.

Procedure

  1. In the Improvements application, display the improvement record that you want to update.
  2. From the More Actions menu, select Remove Work Plan, and then click OK.
    The plan information is removed from the Plans tab and the identifier of the improvement plan is removed from the Job Plan field.
  3. Save the record.
