Defects overview
A defect causes a work asset to deviate from perfect operation. Defects do not have a health, safety, or environmental impact.
The following examples are defects:
- An HVAC filter that is blocked and must be replaced six times more often than usual.
- A motor for the pump on a heat generator is running at a higher-than-normal temperature.
