Reviewing and approving certification records

If a certification record applies to an asset or to a location, when you review the certification record, you verify that the test results passed the essential standards. The certification record can then be approved. You can also make sure that a person has the certification that is needed for a particular task.

Before you begin

The certification record must be in Draft status.

The reviewers and approvers must have review and approval privileges set in the People application.

About this task

When you are a reviewer or an approver of a certification record, you indicate that you reviewed or approved the record in the Reviewed or Approved checkboxes.

1. In the Certifications application, select the certification record.
2. On the Review and Approval tab, specify the details for the reviewers of the certification, and save the record.
3. Specify the details for the approvers of the certification record.
4. Save the certification record.
