Status of actions

The status of an action indicates its position in the processing cycle and the actions that can be done on the record.

If the record has child work orders that inherit status changes, any status change also applies to eligible child work orders.

WAPPR

The action is waiting for approval. This status is the default status of a new action.

APPR

The action is approved. You cannot delete the action.

CAN

The action is canceled. You can use this status when you want to delete the record and deletion is not allowed.

CLOSE

The action is closed. Any inventory reservations are removed for items that were not used on the action. After the record is closed, you cannot change the status.

COMP

All work on the action is complete.

INPRG

Work on the action is in progress.

WMATL

Work is temporarily stopped until essential materials are available.

WPCOND

Work is temporarily stopped until plant conditions are correct.
