Action Tracking application
Actions are agreements between organizations or different parties within an organization. With the Action Tracking application, you can maintain action records and report the status of the work that is done.
The issuance of requirements, advisory notices, or safety bulletins from regulatory agencies or manufacturers might lead you to create actions.
One organization does the work and reports the status of the work to an external organization or another part of the internal organization. An external organization might be a regulatory agency. An internal organization might be a maintenance organization that is responsible for actions that arise from internal management audits.
In the Action Tracking application, you can do the following activities:
- Starting in 9.1, add an environmental action type and associate this action type with an Asset and Location.
- Determine the work that must be done to meet an action.
- Identify the assets that are affected by an action.
- Associate asset lists and standard action groups with an action.
- Generate preventive maintenance (PM) records for the identified assets.
- Generate work orders for an action.
- Associate PM records and work orders with a work package.
- Track the status of work that is essential to meet an action.
- Identify the people who are part of the review process.
- Review the details of safety bulletins.
