Related inspections for a record

Starting in Maximo Health, Safety and Environment 9.2, view all the inspections that are associated with a record in a centralized Related inspections section.

The Related inspections displays all inspection results that are associated with a record for the following applications:

  • Access Permits
  • Audit and Surveys
  • Incidents
  • Operator Rounds in Operator Log
  • Risk Assessments
  • Management of Change (MOC)

The Related inspections section is read-only. You cannot create new inspection records directly from this section. To create inspections, you must add inspection results from the application forms.

You can use the Related Inspections section for the following tasks.

  • View the status of all inspections that are associated with a record
  • Go to inspection records to review or update inspection results
  • Verify that inspections are assigned to the correct person
  • Check due dates and help ensure that inspections are completed on time

The Related inspections section displays the following information for each inspection:

Inspection Form and Description
The inspection form number and description. You can use the detail menu to select a different form or go to the Inspection Forms application.
Revision
The revision number of the inspection form.
Inspection Result
The inspection result number. You can use the detail menu to go to the Inspections application to review or update the inspection.
Due Date
The date and time when the inspection must be completed.
Asset and Location
The asset or location that is associated with the inspection. You can use the detail menu to go to the asset or location record.
Status
The current status of the inspection result.
Owner and Owner Group
The person or person group that is assigned to conduct the inspection. You can use the detail menu to go to the person or person group record.
Reviewer and Reviewer Group
The person or person group that is assigned to review the completed inspection. You can use the detail menu to go to the person or person group record.
