Verify that your environment meets all the requirements before you install IBM® Spectrum Cluster Foundation Community Edition Version 4.2.2.
Before installing IBM Spectrum Cluster Foundation Community
Edition ensure
that your environment meets the following prerequisites:
- A computing environment that consists of two or more machines
- A management node that has at least one network interface
- A supported operating system that is preinstalled on the management node
- Access to the operating system media or image file that is used for installation of the operating system on all nodes in the cluster
- Compute nodes that can be set to boot over network
In addition, your environment must meet all of the hardware requirements, and you must make sure to use supported hardware and software.
