IP Pools

An IP pool represents a subnet in your system.

To view available IP pools, select the Resources tab, go to Infrastructure > Networks > IP Pools.

For each IP pool, the following attributes can be specified:
  • Name
  • Description
  • Subnet
  • Subnet mask
  • Gateway
  • Domain
  • IP address range
  • IP increment
  • Node discovery IP address range
  • VLAN ID
For each IP pool, you must specify an IP address range that is used by the IP pool. Additionally, you can include a temporary range that is used for installing and provisioning by specifying the node discovery IP address range.

An IP pool represents a subnet and does not specify network type or network interface configurations. To assign network interface configurations, add a network profile. See more on adding network profiles.
