Health check

Health check verifies if a server or all servers in a cluster are in good status. Health check can be enabled in the Execution tab of the script template of a server or servers.

A default heath check script (DefaultChecker) is embedded into a published cluster template. It checks the following configurations:
  • Checks that all the NICs are correctly configured according to the settings specified in the network profile.
  • Checks that all NIC metrics are correct and error free.
  • Checks that the Ethernet connection is available in the NIC.
  • Checks that the network gateway is reachable.
  • Checks the hardware for any DIMM failures.
  • Checks for any unallocated disks.
Restriction: The default health check script is only supported on RHEL, CentOS, and SLES. It is not supported on Ubuntu.
