Modify high availability settings

Manage your high availability settings in your IBM® Spectrum Cluster Foundation Community Edition system.

Set a new virtual management node name
In an existing high availability environment, you can change the name of your virtual management node.
Set a new virtual public IP address
In an existing high availability environment, you can change the virtual public IP address.
Set a new virtual provision IP address
In an existing high availability environment, you can change the virtual provision IP address.
Change the share storage server
In a IBM Spectrum Cluster Foundation Community Edition high availability, change the share storage server. Update the current high availability settings to use a new share storage server in your high availability environment.
Add a network in a high availability environment
In an existing high availability environment, add a new public network, such as an InfiniBand network.
Modify a network used by high availability
Modify your network settings to move an existing high availability environment to another network. For example, if the environment was built in one location, and then had to be set up at a customer site.
