Disabling linking between widgets

As a workspace default, the Size of Files over Time widget and the Volume of Files over Time widget are linked together. If you refresh or change the filter of either widget, then the other widget automatically refreshes or updates with the new filter.

To disable a linking widget:

Important: You must complete these steps on every widget you do not want linked together.
  1. In the IBM® Control Center web console, go to Analyze > Personal Workspace or Analyze > Group Workspace.
  2. Right-click a widget, Widget Actions > Listen for Widget Events.
  3. In the dialog box, click the caret to expand the list of widgets in your tab.
  4. Clear the boxes of the widgets that you do not want linked together.
  5. Click OK.
