In IBM® QRadar® 7.5.0, some features were changed or removed.
Changes to hashing algorithms and encryption methods
The hashing algorithm default is changed to SHA-512 for all Ariel hashing. If you are using deprecated algorithms to enable or change hashing algorithms, you can change only to supported algorithms. The following older Ariel algorithms and encryption methods are deprecated in QRadar 7.5.0:
- MD-2
- MD-5
- SHA-1
- HMAC-MD5
- HMAC-SHA-1
