Configuring system properties

View, create, modify, and delete system properties in the system properties table. The system properties affect the system-wide configuration of IBM® Intelligent Operations Center.

Procedure

To view, create, modify, or delete system properties, in the navigation menu, click Administration > System Administration > System Properties. To view the value and description of a system property, click the name of the property. Click the field help icons to view information about the names and values that you can enter.

  • To create a system property, click Create:
    1. In the Create a System Property window, enter a value in the Name field.
    2. Optional: Enter a value in the Value field.
    3. Optional: Enter a value in the Group field. System properties that are members of the same group can be retrieved by a single call to the system properties REST service.
    4. Optional: Enter a value in the Description field.
    5. Click OK.
  • To modify a system property, click the name of the property:
    1. Edit the values in the Value field, the Description field, and the Group field for the property as appropriate.
    2. Click Save.
  • To delete a system property, click the name of the property:
    1. Click Delete.
    2. In the confirmation window, click OK.
