Postinstallation configuration

After you install IBM® Intelligent Operations Center, some postinstallation configuration is required.

Backing up the DB2 keystore file
After you install a platform edition of IBM Intelligent Operations Center, backup the keystore file that is used to consolidate DB2® key encryption keys (KEKs), that are also known as master keys. If a valid keystore file does not exist, the DB2 database data is inaccessible.
Changing default passwords
After you install IBM Intelligent Operations Center, to meet the security requirements in your organization, you might want to change the default passwords.
Postinstallation configuration of Device Management Enablement
After you install Device Management Enablement, some postinstallation configuration is required.
