Viewing item change requests

Users can view the details of the item change requests in the Change requests module. Users can view only requests for items to which the user has read or write access.

Procedure

  1. On the main application page, click the Change requests tab to view the Item change requests grid.
  2. By default, the Item change requests grid displays all requests. To view requests specific to you, select My requests from the Showing list.
  3. The Items change request window appears when you double-click a change request row to view more details.

Results

As a user a few functions are available to you on the Item change requests grid.
  • Filters are available so you can view change requests more suited to your needs.
  • Change request data can be downloaded directly from the grid view.
  • You can add fields directly to the grid. For example, add a snap shot field to easily compare before and after values.
Note: Specific fields and their appearance on the item change request form can be client-specific .
