Session
You can manage change of the session with the Session icon in the upper right corner. For example, if you approved a record with an export profile, you can commit those changes and ultimately trigger the export to the ERP through the Session.
The number that is displayed under Session indicates the number of items that are in the following status:
- Stale or Conflict
- Approved
- Deferred
- Unsaved
- Workflow
Clicking Session presents the End Session window.
The available operations depend on the states of the items.
- Items in the Stale or Conflict state appear under the STALE/CONFLICTED ITEMS tab. The only option available is to revert changes. The option undoes changes and retrieves the latest information from the host ERP or EAM source data system. Conflict resolution can be performed from the item grid or form view.
- Items in the Approved state appear under the APPROVED ITEMS tab. Approved items can either be committed or reverted. Reverting undoes changes and retrieve the latest information. Committing approved records permanently save the changes and upload the selected export profiles to the host ERP or EAM source data system. You can specify default recipients on the APPROVED ITEMS tab by selecting Manage my recipients.
- Items in the Deferred state appear under the DEFERRED ITEMS tab. Deferred items can either be committed or reverted. Reverting undoes changes and retrieve the latest information. Committing deferred records will undo any changes to the record and update the next review date on the item to the selected date before permanently saving the change.
- Items in Modified or Recalculated State appear under the UNSAVED ITEMS tab. The only option available is to revert any changes. It undoes your changes and retrieves the latest information.
- Items in Workflow appear under the WORKFLOW ITEMS tab. The only option available is to revert any changes. The option undoes your changes and retrieves the latest information.
The number of items specific to each tab is presented in the tab headers beside each tab name.
