How to interpret each graphic chart in the report

The following graphic charts are provided in the report:

  • Item count by criticality
  • Approved additions to inventory
  • Inventory breakdown by control segment
  • Aged stock

Item count by criticality chart

The item count by criticality chart shows how many items or materials in each site belong to each business impact category. The higher the degree of impact, the more critical the items, or materials.

Approved additions to inventory chart

The approved addition to the inventory chart provides you with the inventory value for the current month of recently added items or materials. The items or materials are grouped according to control segment. The chart displays only information for items or materials added in the last 12 months. Hover over the chart to display the inventory value for each segment.

Inventory breakdown by control segment chart

You are able to see the inventory value by control segment in the inventory breakdown by control segment chart. The size of each block is proportionate to the inventory value that is correlated with that control segment. The displayed information is the control segment. Hover over each control segment to display the number of items and inventory value for the current month.

Aged stock chart

The aged stock chart provides an overview of potentially obsolete items or materials, which allows you to see the last time an item or material was issued or receipted. If no issue or receipt exists, then you see the last time that the item or material was created. The displayed information is relative to the current month. Hover over the chart to display the inventory value for the current month for each aged date category:

  • 0 - 1 year
  • 1 - 2 years
  • 2 < years

Inventory reductions chart

The inventory reductions chart shows inventory value movement between the start of the year and the current period. Access the menu in the dashboard to display the inventory reductions chart. When the inventory reductions chart is displayed, the same menu can be used to close the chart.
