Default form view for work queues

Changing the Default Form View is a feature for Administrators or super users of IBM® Maximo Inventory Optimization that can be useful when any new or essential information is required to be displayed on a single screen for all users. Work queues can have a specific form view that is already assigned to other work queues as their default form view. When you change a work queues' form view under the work queues module, you can then save and assign that form view to other work queues.

Important: This feature must be enabled by your Administrator or IBM Consultant.

Editing the work queues default form view

  • To change the Work Queues Default Form view, go to the Work Queues module, and select the work queue that you want to change.
  • Return to the Work Queue Items Grid, click the actions menu, The actions menu icon.
  • Select Edit Default Work Queue Item Form view, and then select any of the widgets you want to create, move, or delete.
  • When finished, click the Settings menu and select Save default form view. You now can save the form view to the current work queue, and it saves the form view to this work queue only.
  • You can also apply it to this and other work queues. Other work queues that use the same form view are preselected within the dialog box. You can select and remove any work queues from the list as required.
  • Click Save to apply your changes, and then cofirm.
